Cisco Access Routing and LAN Switching Specialists can scale IP addresses with advanced Network Address translation, manage network performance using queuing and compression, configure PPP, PAP, CHAP, and interVLAN routing in a network containing both switches and routers. In order to obtain the Cisco Access Routing and LAN Switching certification, one must pass the following exams: 642-801 BSCI or 642-891 Composite and 642-053 RSSE/FE. The Cisco Access Routing and LAN Switching certifications are valid for 2 years. To recertify, pass a CCIE written exam or pass a current version of the exam.
