Cisco Advanced Wireless LAN Field Specialist CertificationThe Cisco Advanced Wireless LAN Field Specialist will demonstrate the ability to successfully install, configure and support solutions with Cisco wireless products advanced feature set, based upon a validated understanding of WLAN 802.11a,b and g radio technology standards, Radio Frequency (RF), and antenna theory. You must have a CCNA certification before you can become a Cisco Advanced Wireless LAN Field Specialist and pass the Cisco 642-587 AWLANFE exam. Cisco Advanced Wireless LAN Field Specialist certifications are valid for 2 years. Recertification requires you to pass the current version of the certification exam or pass a CCIE written exam.
