A Cisco IP Communications Support Specialist possess a solid understanding of traditional PSTN technology and can resolve the connectivity issues related to legacy PBX and voice mail systems. The following exams are required to obtain certification as a Cisco IP Communications Support Specialist: 642-444 CIPT, 642-432 CVOICE, and 642-642 QoS. Cisco IP Communications Support Specialist certifications are valid for 2 years. To recertify for this certification, one must pass the 642-444 CIPT exam or pass a CCIE written exam.
